Bridgetown bushfire emergency warning downgraded in south west
SOUTH WALES COUNTY DIVISION – WEDNESDAY 28 OCTOBER 2016 The South Wales County Division has downgraded its alert for the bushfire situation in north west Wynt. The evacuation orders continue, with a number of communities in South Wales already being told to be prepared. The warning also extends southwards to Worsley and Cwmbran. The Red Cross will be delivering a meal kit for those affected by the fire. The fire is threatening more than 50 properties. It is estimated to be the worst fire in the region since it began a year ago.
