Bryson’s lawyer, Michael Kranish, said he would file a request for bail for Bryson on Monday. Bryson had been on trial without bail since Friday in Dallas County federal court. He has pleaded not guilty to counts ranging from assault and weapons charges to unlawful possession of a weapon, as well as firearms charges.

He was being held on $1m bond following a court appearance in Dallas on 21 July last year but that was reduced on Friday to $1,500. He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted.
Cox, 34, is currently free on $100,000 bond in a Dallas County jail. A bond hearing has yet to be set for both men.
Dallas Police Chief David Brown praised police for the actions of their officgospelhitzers in stopping Bryson.
“Bryson is fortunate that he was shot by Dallas police officers in a timely manner during a routine traffic stop in which they also pulled over the vehicle that Bryson had been in,” Brown said in a statement.
Cox pleaded not ggospelhitzuilty on Saturday.
Bryson has been held on the gun charges as well as charges he violated his probation, including two counts of aggravated assault on an officer and one count of attempted battery on an officer.
